Who we are
This site is maintained by a father. Not an association, not a union, not a law firm: a father who spent three school years requesting the support assistant hours his son needs, and who decided to look at what the papers said.
Why it exists
My son has congenital multiple arthrogryposis. He needs permanent accompaniment to move, to go to the bathroom, to eat, to put on his orthotics, and to leave the center if an alarm sounds. His school day is 24 hours per week. Without a person by his side, he cannot attend.
For three school years, the response was always verbal, without any document, without anyone signing for the responsibility. When I started searching, I discovered two things. First: the data exists and is public. Second: we were not an isolated case — 193 schools have lost hours in one year.
This site exists so that no family has to do this work again.
How the hours were calculated
In the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years, the annexes publish a "Hours" column: these are the ones you see, without any manipulation. In the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years, only the amount was published: the hours were obtained by dividing it by the support assistant module declared in the same resolution (440 € and 450 €). It is exactly the calculation made by the Departament d'Educacio i Formacio Professional. Each file indicates whether they are "declared" or "calculated".
The published hours are funded for the center as a whole, not for a specific student. How they are distributed among the children is decided by the management of each school with the inclusive educational care commission.
What you will not find here
- No data on any child. We do not publish names, diagnoses, or reports of any minor, nor of my son.
- No accusations. We publish official figures with the link to the document containing them. The conclusions are drawn by the reader.
- Legal advice. This is not that. For a specific case, a professional is required.
