Analysis of the allocation of school supervisor hours
The funding for supervisor hours is published each academic year through the annexes of the DOGC. Currently, the supervisor module is 450.00 EUR per weekly hour and school year, although for the 2022-2023 course it was 440.00 EUR.
The allocation of these hours follows an established calendar: the Directorate General for Inclusive Education presents a proposal in May, the initial allocation is made in July, and the final one before the start of the course. Communication takes place in December, and the final publication in the DOGC occurs between February and April.
The Ombudsman's Report from January 2025 indicates that, despite an overall increase of 15.5% in hours, 23.2% of centers (466 out of 2,011) have suffered a reduction in their allocation. Likewise, out of 574 centers with published hours, 193 lost some between the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years.
To calculate the needs, annex 4 (Protocol for evaluating complementary support needs) is used, which scores up to 81 points divided into four blocks. For field trips and camps, they must be communicated at least 30 days in advance, with the first period being from September 2 to October 11.
